EXPANDING FREE ORAL HEALTH RESOURCES THROUGH STUDENTS, ONE SCHOOL AT A TIME.

build a chapter where you are

what a chapter is

EVERY CHAPTER STARTS WITH ONE STUDENT.

Empowered Smiles Initiative started in 2025 with two students at Diamond Bar High School who noticed that free dental essentials were missing from a local resource fair. One observation became a 501(c)(3), with hundreds of hygiene kits in the hands of people who needed them.

A chapter is how our mission can reach more communities. You bring the students and the local connection. We bring the kits, the curriculum, the nonprofit structure, and everything we've learned since embarking on our mission.

No dental experience or budget required. Just a few passionate people willing to show up.

why start one

ORAL HEALTH IS THE GAP NOBODY FILLS.

Toothbrushes and toothpaste are easy to overlook, but they can make a real difference for someone who lacks access to them. Without basic oral care, small problems can become painful and expensive.

A chapter helps get hygiene kits to people in your community through shelters, resource fairs, and local groups. You will have the opportunity to organize drives, work with partners, and help distribute supplies where they are needed.

It is a simple way to help with a need that is often neglected.

what we ask of you
